A very odd week in the NFL, with only two Thanksgiving games, multiple COVID related issues and a Pittsburgh-Baltimore game that got moved twice. The most shocking development of the week was that the Broncos would not be allowed to play any of their QBs because of a positive COVID test and contract tracing. Instead, they started Kendall Hinton, a practice squad wide receiver. The results? 1/9 passing and two interceptions. Playing QB in the NFL is a whole different beast.
Will Fuller strikes again! The Texans WR was having his most productive season ever, turning into a legitimate WR1 in fantasy. He was healthy! And now it’s all gone. Fuller was suspended for PEDs and will miss the rest of the season. Heartbreaking.
An eventful week for the Steelers, Ravens and fantasy owners with members of those two teams in their starting lineups. When the game was moved to Wednesday, everyone collectively had a freak out over which week the game would be considered to be played in. Ultimately the powers that be concluded it would still be a Week 12 game, turning Wednesday into an ultimate sweat for tight fantasy matchups.
Due to the Ravens-Steelers double postponement, we are in store for one of the greatest fantasy football nights in the history of the game. On Monday in Week 13, the last week of the regular season for most leagues, we will have a Monday Night Football double headers AND a Tuesday night sweat. Giddy up!
There has never been a more important year to secure a bye week in fantasy. Simple as that. If you locked one up, congrats to you.

Moments of Payne 👀
Do you know that feeling of regret which swims over you after a big meal? The unsettling feeling you have once the food coma haze wears off? For me, that feeling now has a name…WILLIAM FULLER!
On Thanksgiving, William feasted on the Lions secondary. His monster game had me glowing all day. It wasn’t until late in the day did that unsettling feeling begin to swim over me….
I couldn’t quite put my finger on it, so I went back and rewatched that game. The image of William looking so calm at the end was chilling….
I wouldn’t get my resolution until a few days later when he popped positive for PEDs. Damnit William. The juice is never worth the squeeze!
Waiver Wire Targets 🎯
Keke Coutee — Texans WR
With Will Fuller out for the year due to a PED suspension, all available Texans receivers should be picked up. That includes the tight ends. Coutee is the receiver most available on the waiver wires and should have a big role going forward.
Cam Akers — Rams RB
It finally happened. Akers is finally the lead back for the Rams. Of course, that could all change next week. But for two straight weeks, Akers has had a good-sized role in the offense and could be in store for more touches.
DeAndre Washington — Dolphins RB
We’ll see if Myles Gaskin or Salvon Ahmed come back for Week 13, but for now, Washington is the top back in Miami. If both Gaskin and Ahmed are out, Washington could be a nice starter in Week 13.
Breshad Perriman — Jets WR
Perriman had 8 receptions for the Jets with Sam Darnold back in the lineup. If that’s his go-to for the rest of the season, Perriman could be worth starting. You could also pick up Denzel Mims, who was also productive on Sunday.
DeVonte Booker — Raiders RB
If Josh Jacobs’ ankle sprain is severe, Booker is the top target on the waiver wire. If Jacobs is fine, then Booker is still worthy of a flier. Watch out for the injury report.
FSGA Update 🏈
Heading into Monday Night Football, our team had a 20.2 point lead and we were facing DK Metcalf. I have to admit, facing DK with the matchup on the line didn’t make me feel great. And then Jim Schwartz had to go and open his big mouth.
The former Detroit Lions head coach and current Eagles defensive coordinator allegedly told Metcalf that he’s no Calvin Johnson, yet. According to reports, Schwartz said that he was in Detroit with Johnson and that DK was, “not there yet.” Metcalf tapped into his inner Michael Jordan and “took that personally.”
Ten catches and 177 yards later, the Seahawks won and Champions Round lost. Thanks, Jim. That being said, the Champions Round team moves to 9–3 and still sits atop the FSGA Central Conference standings. Onwards.
Enjoy Week 13, stay well and good luck!
