Sunday Sleepers 💤

Denzel Mims — Jets WR

The Jets offense should actually be able to move the ball on the Raiders. Mims has a great matchup and has been a nice surprise of late. This looks to be a potential spot for Mims to have a double digit day for fantasy points.

Anthony Firkser — Titans TE

With Jonnu Smith out vs. the Browns, this figures to be a good spot for the unheralded TE. The Browns give up the MOST targets per game to opposing tight ends. Given that TE is such a terrible position this year, Firkser may be in for a top 5 performance on Sunday.

Hunter Renfrow — Raiders WR

Nelson Agholor has been dealing with a sprained ankle and Josh Jacobs is out on Sunday vs. the Jets. Booker should do fine in Jacobs’ role, but I expect Carr to throw the ball a bit more than usual. With that said, Renfrow should be expected to have a higher target share, especially given that the Jets blitz a ton and Carr will need to get the ball out quickly. Slot receivers have eaten the Jets up. Renfrow smash spot!

Kyler Murray — Cardinals QB

I hope I’m wrong here considering I have a fairly substantial stake in Kyler and the Cardinals. However, Murray is still dealing with a shoulder injury and he’s facing the best defense in the NFL. I still think you have to start him, but if you have a capable QB in a great situation, you may have to do the impossible and bench K1.

Tyler Boyd & Tee Higgins — Bengals WRs

Unfortunately for Boyd and Higgins, Joe Burrow is no longer the QB in Cincy. Brandon Allen isn’t great and they’re facing a TOUGH Miami defense. Bad spot for both of them.

James Conner — Steelers RB

Conner is dealing with COVID but seems likely to return on Monday Night against the Football Team. That being said, Washington has an elite defensive line and Benny Snell performed well against the Ravens. I doubt Conner will have a significant role even if he returns to play.

Smash Spots 🚀

Justin Jefferson — Vikings WR

The Jaguars are without four of their top five defensive backs and Jefferson is an absolute stud. This could also be a big Adam Thielen game, but given he is coming off of COVID, I would be hesitant to go all in on him. So Jefferson it is.

Allen Robinson — Bears WR

Trusting Mitch Trubisky? Nope. But we are fading the Lions defense. You saw what juiced up Will Fuller did on Thanksgiving? I think Robinson could have a Y U G E day.

Jonathan Taylor — Colts RB

This is a bold one. Especially considering that Taylor was being compared to Trent Richardson a couple of weeks ago. But JT had a bounce back game last week and finds himself facing the worst rushing D in the NFL. If there’s ever a big Taylor game, it’s this one.

Bets 🔒

It looks like there’s a lot of good teaser pieces this week, including but not limited to: Green Bay (-2.5), Arizona (+8.5), Houston (+9), Atlanta (+9).

I would be in favor of playing all of those in a combo of your choice. However, if you’re not down with the teasers, then here are some straight bets I see value on.

  • Washington (+8)
  • San Francisco (PK)
  • Philadelphia (+9)
  • Giants-Seahawks under 47.5

Enjoy Week 13 and good luck!
