Fantasy Preview 👑

Rams vs. Packers (-6.5; O/U 45.5)

The Packers have the best offense in the NFL, while the Rams have the top defense. This should be a wildly intriguing matchup. The Packers should be able to the move the ball and will have an advantage with the cold weather (sub-20 degrees) and the surface at Lambeau Field should give the Rams some issues. You saw what the Packers did to a good Titans team in bad weather in Green Bay.

With Jared Goff’s hand issue, Aaron Donald’s ribs and Cooper Kupp’s knee, the Rams have significant injury issues. I think the Packers will be able to win, but I find it hard to see a path for them to score 30 points. I like the under.

One to Start: Cam Akers

If the Rams are going to win this game, they’re going to win it on the ground and with their defense. Akers should probably get at least 20 touches in this one, meaning he should be a viable piece for your daily fantasy squads.

One to Sit: Cooper Kupp

Kupp is dealing with a knee injury and Jared Goff will struggle with his hand in the cold. I don’t see a path for Kupp to have a big game.

Prediction: Packers 24 — Rams 17

Ravens vs. Bills (-2.5; O/U 50)

The Bills escaped versus the Colts despite not playing close to their best game. Indy exposed some warts in Buffalo and the Ravens could take advantage, especially on the ground. However, the Ravens inability to produce in the passing game is an issue and the Bills offense, if it’s clicking, can put up 30 really quickly.

I expect a tight game, maybe a little lower scoring than people think, but ultimately think Buffalo can get it done at home.

One to Start: JK Dobbins

The Buffalo rushing defense isn’t great and can be run on. They’ll probably sell out to stop Lamar Jackson, meaning JK Dobbins should find a lot of success on the ground.

One to Sit: John Brown and Gabriel Davis

The Ravens passing defense is really good. Stefon Diggs, because of his abilities and targets, will probably get his. But the other Buffalo receivers will likely have some issues contributing in a big way.

Prediction: Bills 24 — Ravens 20

Seven Stakes Is Live! 🎉

The NFL Wild Card round is over, but the fun is just getting started here at Champions Round! It’s time to raise the stakes!

Our Seven Stakes contest is live and your picks are due by January 16th. This week’s slate features the Divisional Round games.

Here’s how it works: Create or join a league with friends. We will ask seven questions which have multiple right and wrong answers. These are the stakes! Make your choices, watch the results live, the team with the highest score wins!

You will be awarded points based on the Odds we have set. For example: If you pick the Tom Brady to have the most passing yards this weekend, you’ll earn 350 points! If he doesn’t, you get nothing. Those are the stakes!

Download the Champions Round app (available on iOS and Android) and create a Seven Stakes league today!

🏆 Fantasy For Good

One last thing about our Seven Stakes game mode. We wanted to add in a charity component so here’s the deal: The LEAGUE that scores the most total points in our Seven Stakes contest will have a donation made by Champions Round to the charity of the league’s choosing. We will donate $1,000 in their names.

Yes, the goal is to beat your league mates. However, if you’re out of the running, you can still cheer on bets all the way through the Super Bowl. We’re all about crowning champions, but we can help uplift some folks along the way. That’s ultimately what we’re all about.
